With the Lumin™ CPAP Mask and Accessories Sanitizer, you can disinfect your CPAP mask and equipment in just 5 minutes with the press of a button. The Lumin Sanitizer uses UV-C light to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria, germs, pathogens, viruses, molds and fungi that may be present on your CPAP equipment. UV light is used as a disinfectant in a variety of ways throughout the health industry.

Simple and Safe Sanitization

Unlike other CPAP disinfecting systems, Lumin does not rely on Ozone to clean your equipment. Instead, Lumin uses UV-C light, which presents a safe alternative that cleans your equipment much faster. While many Ozone cleaning systems can take up to 2 hours to complete their cleaning cycle, Lumin cleans your equipment in 5 minutes.  

The key to Lumin is its simplicity. The system doesn't require any adapters, filters or pre-wash solution to clean your equipment. All you have to do is plug your Lumin into an outlet, place your equipment in the chamber and press the start button. You don't have to take your mask apart, and most water chambers will easily fit inside the Lumin chamber. The Lumin is compatible with all brands of masks and CPAP accessories.  The Lumin can also be used to sanitize your non-CPAP items such as dentures, toothbrushes, cell phones, toys, and more.  Any non-living item that fits in the Lumin tray can be sanitized.

The Lumin has a shutoff mechanism that engages if the drawer is open, protecting users' eyes from the UV light. 

Tips

• The Lumin is intended for at home sanitization of CPAP masks and accessories. It is designed to eliminate harmful bacteria, mold and fungus. It is not intended to wash visible residue. For visible residue, first wipe mask, accessories and components by gently wiping with CPAP wipes or a moist towel. 
• The Lumin sanitizes the surface of items only.  It will not sanitize the interior of items such as hoses, tubing, or the inside of nasal pillows and cushions.
• The Lumin can be cleaned with a soft lint-free cloth or wiped with a damp cloth if needed.  No extensive cleaning or upkeep is required.
• The Lumin UV bulb is designed to outlast the lifespan of the device, however if the bulb needs to be replaced, it can be purchased seperately and installed easily.

Warnings

• The Lumin is not a toy and is not intended to be used by children.
• The Lumin has a powerful UV light bulb included, use with care in case of broken glass.
• Do not use in or around sinks, tubs, pools or any bodies of water.
• The UV that is emitted in the closed chamber is not compatible with life, never place living creatures in the Lumin.
• Do not stack objects on top of your Lumin.
• Use this device only for its intended use as described in the manual. If the equipment is not used in the manner specified, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.
• Do not attempt to operate this device with the drawer open. The device was designed to shut off automatically when the drawer is open. It is important not to defeat or tamper with this safety feature as UVC light can cause damage to eyesight.
